AMSU Accommodation Support Service
The Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer University (AMSU) suggest a number of accommodation possibilities to the courses' participants.
1) The Student Hotel Amsterdam -
AMSU established a cooperation with the Student Hotel in Amsterdam. With a special promo code (see below) you can book your stay directly at the hotel in the period August 1-31, 2019 (upon availability).
The Student Hotel is well-known for its amazing spaces designed with student needs in mind. Your room includes: private en-suite bathroom, a large comfy bed, a closet, a desk, a flat screen TV (with international channels), free WIFI in the room, a fully equipped shared kitchen, 24/7 reception & security.
You can book in Amsterdam West (€ 51,-- pppn, including VAT, excluding City Tax) or Amsterdam City (€ 68,-- pppn, including VAT, excluding City Tax). Both locations are to and from the course location good to be reached with public transport.
To book a room visit www.thestudenthotel.com. Select your check-in and check-out date between the 1th and 31th of August 2019, as well as the TSH hotel you would like to book (Amsterdam West / Amsterdam City). Enter the special code [SEGRO24] in the tab underneath the check-in then select "BOOK NOW". In the 2nd step you can pick one of the rooms available, then select "BOOK NOW". In the 3rd step you'll find an overview of your booking, and you can opt for additional services. If it reflects your wishes, select "CONTINUE". In the 4th step you fill in your personal details and proceed to the confirmation and payment window.
Please know that booking under this code is subject to availability of rooms. Please contact us if you want to book with the code but there is no availability (office@amsu.edu).
2) Hotel, Bed and Breakfast, apartments in Amsterdam
Participants wishing to stay in an Amsterdam Hotel, Bed & Breakfast or rent their own apartment, should make their own reservation. Please note that, should you wish to stay in a hotel Bed & Breakfast or apartment in the city, it is important that you make your reservations as soon as possible as Amsterdam is extremely popular in the Summer. We suggest to look into the websites of www.booking.com and www.aribnb.com for special offers.
